KUWAIT: The Kuwait Meteorological Department has forecast the onset of a rainy episode starting Sunday afternoon, and continuing until the following afternoon on Monday. Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, the Director of the Department, explained that this weather phenomenon is due to the proliferation of low and medium clouds interspersed with cumulonimbus clouds, resulting in scattered light to medium-intensity rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms and heavy downpours.

The affected areas are predicted to be primarily in the western and northern regions, with active southeasterly winds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour and sea waves rising to more than six feet. Al-Qarawi emphasized the importance of staying informed about the latest weather developments and any issued weather warnings by following the official website and smartphone application of the meteorological administration
