KUWAIT: A flag hoisting ceremony was held in the Embassy of Pakistan, Kuwait this morning on the occasion of Pakistan Day 2015. A large number of the members of Pakistani community, including community notables, students, women and children attended the ceremony. Representatives of ethnic and local Kuwaiti media were also present.
First time at the embassy 14 meter long flag carried by the attendees.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait, H.E. Muhammad Aslam Khan, hoisted the national flag and read out the messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Aslam Khan highlighted the significance of the adoption of Pakistan resolution in the history of the struggle of Pakistan. He noted that having overcome numerous challenges, the Pakistani nation, in keeping with the spirit of Pakistan Day, had a clear vision of the way ahead towards peace and prosperity. He urged the Pakistani community to play their role in bringing Pakistan and Kuwait closer, especially through promoting cooperation in trade and investment and projecting Pakistan’s rich culture and traditions.
The ceremony concluded with dua for Pakistan’s security, stability, peace and prosperity. This was followed by cake cutting and serving of refreshments.
KUWAIT: A Flag Hoisting ceremony on the occasion of the National Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan will be held on Monday 23rd March 2015 at 08:00 A.M at the Chancery premises of the Embassy of Pakistan, Kuwait.

KUWAIT: On the occasion of National Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait will remain closed on Monday, 23rd March 2015 and will reopen with its routine office timings from 08.00 a.m to 04.00 p.m. on Tuesday 24th March 2015.
KUWAIT: H. E. Muhammad Aslam Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait, today met with Mr. Abd al-Rahman al-Alyan, Chief Editor of the Daily Kuwait Times. The discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, including media coverage of the ongoing events marking celebration of Pakistan Day 2015, as well as strengthening cooperation between the two brotherly countries, Pakistan and Kuwait.
Embassy of Pakistan: The Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Muhammad Aslam Khan, held a press briefing this afternoon at the Chancery premises to highlight the salient features of the upcoming “Expo Pakistan 2015” to be held at Karachi Expo Center from 26 February to 1st March 2015.
Representatives of over a dozen Kuwaiti and ethnic media outlets, both electronic and print, attended the press briefing.
Welcoming the media representatives, the Ambassador sought their cooperation in projecting the mega trade fair for the benefit of the Kuwaiti businessmen and investors.
The programme included a detailed presentation by the Commercial Secretary, Agha Saeed Ahmad, on the Expo, highlighting the range of products on display, the modalities of participation and the arrangements in place for the participants in Karachi.
This was followed by Question and Answer Session and reception hosted by the Ambassador of Pakistan. The attached leaflet entitled “Expo Pakistan” was shared with the journalists.
KUWAIT: To express solidarity with the people of Kashmir for their courage and continued struggle for the right of self-determination, a special ceremony was held on Thursday, Feb 05 at Pakistan Embassy in Kuwait, with large number of people from Pakistani community and officials of the embassy participated.
The ceremony began with recitation from the Holy Quran and Anthem of Pakistan. The messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out to the participants. These messages reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to stand by Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their legitimate struggle against foreign occupation.
The Ambassador H.E Mohammad Aslam Khan, in his address, highlighted the significance of the Kashmir Solidarity Day and Pakistan’s efforts to secure a solution to the long-standing Kashmir dispute. He stressed upon the support of the international community especially the Muslim countries in resolving the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions. Pakistan was committed to extending full moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiri people till the realization of their right to self-determination, he added.
A documentary film, highlighting the peaceful protests of the unarmed Kashmiris against the occupation forces was also shown to the audience.
The ceremony ended with collective prayers for the success of the Kashmir struggle and peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
